VISUAL DESIGN, SOUND & THE WILDERNESS FROM PASSION PIT TO GERHARD RICHTER

Over the last 5 years The Wilderness has garnered acclaim for their direction of seminal music videos for Passion Pit, Anti-pop Consortium, The Antlers, Gordon Voidwell, The Juan Maclean, Beans and more. Originally a design and motion graphics firm, The Wilderness has stepped into more live-action projects including documentaries, brand films and commercials.

Do not miss this event where they will discuss various apexes of filmmaking and how it relates to design, fine art and music.

Juliet Rios, Creative Director will discuss the idea of color and it’s co-dependent relationship in visual design and sound.

Gabe Imlay, Creative Director will speak about the collaborative nature of film versus the solitary nature of design and how they affect their respective mediums on a micro and macro level.

Do not leave early because there will be a live performance aspect to this event that will leave you on the edge of your seat and ready for a drink!
