Motherhood & Creative Leadership
Continuing the Conversation
Joins us for a virtual conversation
AIGA NY invites you to join another conversation on how motherhood reshapes creative careers — and this time, we want you to help shape it. Submit your questions, concerns, and topics by March 15, and our panelists will tackle what’s actually on your mind. Enter questions or topics here.
Building on an energizing in-person panel in 2025, we’re moving online to reach more caregivers, wherever they are. Our panelists, Asia Irving, Chelsea Goldwell, and Katwo Puertollano, speak from personal experience to systems, structures, and solutions — what real support for mothers in the design industry actually looks like, from flexible work models and career re-entry to leadership pathways, boundaries, and sustainable creative practice.
Motherhood is not a professional dead end. It’s a source of leadership, empathy, and creative strength — and this conversation is for anyone ready to help make that case: working parents, future planners, team managers, and advocates for change alike.
This event is hosted in collaboration with Lucie Kim and Carrie Ingoglia.
