From Designer to Publisher: Owning the Bookmaking Journey Start to Finish
Ever wanted to publish your own work? Interested in getting into the book game but not sure where to start? As designers, we are natural creators, but when it comes to books, it usually stops at graphics or paper choices. But what happens when a designer owns the whole process? What happens when we also become the publisher?
Join is for a lively conversation and Q&A with Kelli Anderson, Jesse Reed (Order, Standards Manual), Hannah Pierce and Isobel Chiang (Small Editions), Andrea Trabucco-Campos, and Martin Azambuja (Vernacular) who have started publishing on their own. Whether it’s for themselves or for others, by themselves or as teams, we’ll take a peek into some of your favorite and soon-to-be-favorite designers’ stories, methods and creations.
