Communicating with Clients & Stakeholders
Strategies for Clarity & Impact
Master the art of pitching ideas, handling feedback, and making your voice heard—clearly and confidently.
As a designer, your work doesn’t speak for itself—you do. Yet, articulating your vision beyond the design team can be challenging. Whether it’s pitching ideas to clients, addressing feedback from non-designers, or explaining your perspective with clarity, effective communication is essential to driving your ideas forward.
In this interactive workshop, Aliénor Hunter and Aman Chopra, Senior Coaches at Ultraspeaking, will guide you through proven techniques to improve storytelling, sharpen your point of view, and navigate challenging conversations with confidence.
Through live coaching and experiential learning, you’ll gain tools to communicate your ideas persuasively—without feeling like you’re constantly defending your work. You’ll leave with greater confidence, clarity, and the ability to advocate for your ideas in any room.
Topics will include the following:
How to get to the point
People tend to forget most of what you say. That’s why it’s so critical to decide on the one thing you want your audience to remember. In this module, we learn how to recognize rambling, simplify your message, and speak with greater clarity.
How to get buy-in for your ideas
The best ideas don’t always win. People need to understand the higher level vision that animates your solution. In this module, we explore how to frame your ideas around an inspiring ideal and communicate it with conviction.
These sessions will be recorded for registered attendees.

About Ultraspeaking
In 2017, Tristan de Montebello stood in front of 3,000 people on the final stage of the World Championship of public speaking.
Despite starting with zero experience in public speaking, Tristan became the fastest competitor in history to reach the finals in seven months.Afterwards, Tristan de Montebello and his coach Michael Gendler co-founded Ultraspeaking.
They went on to coach thousands of students, ranging from professional keynote speakers to people suffering from crippling anxiety. They found out why most efforts to improve public speaking fail: you have to learn to enjoy speaking before you can get better at it. It’s just like swimming. If you don’t learn how to float before you try to swim across the pool, you’ll flail around, exerting needless energy.
Through thousands of hours of coaching, they developed and refined a fun and gamified coaching methodology that produces rapid results. While many programs focus too much on the symptoms of nervousness, their approach tackles the underlying root problems to unlock a fundamentally different relationship to speaking.
Today, Ultraspeaking is a global community made up of thousands of individuals passionate about learning the skills to live a fully-expressed life.
