AIGA NY Coffee House Series featuring Hybrid Design
Celebrating Curiosity in All Things

Where design, conversation, and community meet.

The AIGA NY is proud to launch the Coffee House Series — a quarterly gathering for design educators, students, creative thinkers, and the design-curious. Each session brings our community together at a local bookstore or café to hear from authors and practitioners whose work sits at the intersection of creativity, culture, and design.

For our debut event, we’re excited to partner with Rizzoli Bookstore and welcome Dora Drimalas and Caleb Kozlowski of Hybrid Design — a San Francisco-based multidisciplinary graphic design studio known for creating wonderfully engaging work across branding, identity, illustration, campaigns, packaging, retail, digital, and more. Their client roster includes Nike, Sonos, The North Face, Google, Apple, Rapha, A24, SFMOMA, LEGO, and Levi’s.

Dora and Caleb will celebrate their book Curiosity in All Things, speaking to its core theme and reflecting on how curiosity has shaped their creative practice, their studio, and their careers. The evening includes a short presentation, a conversation about their work, and an open Q&A. You’ll have time to mingle with fellow design enthusiasts and partake in a book club corner if you’ve already read Curiosity in All Things.

Free for AIGA members and the public.

Location:

About the Speakers

Dora Drimalas

Dora is co-founder and Executive Creative Director of Hybrid Design. Her career spans years at Nike Brand Design — where she contributed to the launch of Nike’s first New York flagship store, early Sportswear campaigns, and global moments including the Olympics and World Cup — and co-founding Super7, a pop-culture toy company driven by storytelling. Her work lives at the intersection of design, content, and culture.
