As a former graphic designer and now headhunter, Evie Porwick will share her unique insider perspective on the creative job search. In this casual Q&A session, Evie will answer your questions about presenting your work, interviewing and negotiating rates. She will also provide insight into current industry trends, employers’ needs, and the industry as a whole. If time allows she encourages attendees to bring in their work for discussion and commentary.

Evie founded the recruitment firm, Evie Porwick/FPO, LLC, over two decades ago. FPO places all levels, full-time and freelance, within all disciplines including print, branding, digital, packaging, etc. for all types of companies from small boutique shops to bigger branding agencies, fashion houses and in-house institutions. FPO matches talented designers with happy clients. Evie is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and worked as a graphic designer in several leading New York firms prior to starting her company.
