Think Clearly, Speak Confidently
Effective Communication for Designers

Discover strategies to think clearly under pressure and leave with the tools to express yourself effectively in the work scenarios that matter most.

Speaking is supposed to feel good. Most of the time it does. But when we feel pressure, it suddenly feels difficult, complicated, and uncomfortable. But it doesn’t have to remain that way. In this two-part virtual workshop, Michael Gendler, founder of Ultraspeaking, will demonstrate techniques that design professionals can use to handle pressure and improve on-the-fly speaking skills.

Through live coaching and interactive games, you’ll learn new techniques to articulate your thoughts clearly and present your ideas with confidence in the situations that are most important.

You will learn alongside volunteers without the pressure of needing to perform on-the-spot. Through games and experiential learning, you will discover strategies to think clearly under pressure and leave with the tools to express yourself effectively in the speaking scenarios that matter most.

This virtual two-part virtual workshop will cover the following modules:

September 5, 12:00pm – 1:30pm EST

Managing Your Nerves
Discover effective techniques for managing the nerves that naturally arise when speaking in front of an audience. Learn key strategies to help you maintain composure and navigate the speaking process with greater calm and control.

September 6, 12:00pm – 1:30pm EST

Clear & Concise Speaking
Learn techniques to overcome blanking, rambling, and losing your train of thought. You’ll leave with actionable strategies for accessing clarity in the moment and ensuring your audience remembers your key takeaways every time you speak.

These sessions will be recorded for registered attendees.
