<p>To showcase the creative innovation happening today in New York City, the MoMA Design Store is inviting local designers living and working in the city&#8217;s five boroughs to submit items for a product collection launching in 2013. Product categories will include, but are not limited to, paper (note cards, postcards, journals), home (tabletop, kitchen, home textiles, desk, kids&#8217;, gadgets/tools), personal accessories (bags, jewelry, scarves, wallets, pouches, and other small accessories), furniture (wall clocks, stools, lighting), and books.</p>

Student, Mentor pairs were invited to join Green Patriot Posters, an arts collaborative that addresses climate change and the need for a new economy, to create posters for the show. 
</p>

A Green Patriot Salon brings together more than 100 of the best contemporary poster designs promoting sustainability. The opening reception for the mentoring program is on Saturday, April 21 from 4-5:30 pm.

Living Room: Housing Works Builds Housing is a space to explore the housing and related services created by Housing Works for homeless individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS in New York City between 1990 and the present. It is grounded in a full-scale blueprint for one supportive-housing unit in the Keith D. Cylar House, the first of Housing Works’ many housing projects throughout the boroughs, as well as bureaucratic definitions of sickness and health, and selected moments from the supportive housing movement—the effort by nonprofit organizations since the 1960s to create affordable housing coupled with medical and social services.

Guerrilla Girls, an anonymous group of feminists fighting sexism in the art world, stage a multimedia performance in full jungle drag. The performance will also include participatory exercises from the newly released edition of The Guerrilla Girls’ Art Museum Activity Book. A book signing will follow the performance.
