Small Talk Surprise: Vince Frost
Small Talks are intimate evenings featuring presentations by speakers who represent a broad spectrum of visual culture. Expose yourself to various passions, disciplines, ways of working, and ways of seeing. Join fellow members in the Bumble and bumble auditorium in the Meatpacking District (after wine and hors d’oeuvres in the library) for a series that is sure to inspire and inform.
Vince Frost has played a leading role in the international design community for the past two decades. In the early 90s, he became Pentagram London’s youngest Associate Director. After five years, he set up Frost Design. In 2004 he made the move to Sydney, Australia, where Vince continues to work with a broad range of clients, including New York-based Rizzoli Books, the Swiss Re Centre for Global Dialogue (Zürich), Deutsche Bank Asia and Seoul International Finance Centre.
Vince has recently worked with leading Australian design magazine POL Oxygen to create a special issue called "Stretch," featuring a collection of international contemporary luminaries whose talents and imagination stretch across design, fashion, culture, music, art and architecture.
Vince’s work was the subject of a major retrospective: "Frost*bite: Graphic Ideas by Vince Frost" at the Sydney Opera House Exhibition Hall in 2006. This comprehensive exhibition of Vince’s work coincided with the publication of "Frost*," a book spanning more than a decade of award-winning design.
