THURSDAY 28 JUNE 2007 6:30–9:00PM
Music/Man: Niklaus Troxler

Eclectic rhythms, soulful beats. Punctuated palettes, iconic motifs. Rarely have the two artistic mediums of music and design collided so elegantly. Niklaus Troxler’s posters chronicle jazz with visual acuity and wit, exposing his own love affair with a singular musical genre. Niklaus will introduce an 80-poster retrospective of his work, stepping you through a process that reveals a quintessential visual expression of that exquisite art form—jazz. Live music by Bob Stewart on tuba and Craig Harris on trombone will accompany this visual feast. So come see a virtuoso and witness exactly what true transcendence across art forms looks like.
